Dengan kejayaan besar yang dimiliki setelah filem “Marvel’s The Avengers” memperoleh kutipan sebanyak USD 1.46 bilion (RM 4.5 bilion) di seluruh dunia, pengarah Joss Whedon kini kembali untuk beberapa projek terbaru yang bertemakan Marvel.
Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Disney, Bob Iger mengumumkan bahawa Whedon telahpun bersetuju dengan Marvel Studios untuk menulis dan mengarah filem sekuel “The Avengers 2”, yang berkemungkinan akan diriliskan pada tahun 2015. Beliau juga akan membikin sebuah siaran bersiri Marvel di saluran ABC, seperti yang dilaporkan Variety.
Sebarang butir lain mengenai siaran televisyen itu masih belum diberi. Selain itu, ABC akan turut membuat semula siri “Incredible Hulk” bersama Guillermo del Toro.
Filem-filem Marvel yang lain seperti “Iron Man 3”, “Thor: The Dark World”, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”, dan “Guardians of the Galaxy” bakal diriliskan pada tahun 2014. – Tupai
